Press Release 2016

Tess Robinson, CCS Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Zhen Zeng-Liao, CCS Executive Director, opened the full-day event with introductions. FESP keynote speakers discussed education, visa, and immigration trends specific to Shanghai. Attendees then joined the lively networking session. They had further opportunity to network during the delicious buffet lunch provided by Parkyard Hotel.

Speakers for the afternoon’s first panel discussion addressed well-being concerns, specifically mental, physical, and environmental issues. Topics touched upon a wide range of issues including community resources, the new child protection law, and air pollution, to innovating, improving, and redefining how to address these subjects.

The Relocating Expats - The New Normal panel discussion rounded out the event with speakers presenting data on consumer and business profiles, the economy, and real estate trends in Shanghai and greater China.

Attendees and speakers represented a broad spectrum of the business and international community including: international schools, relocation companies, chambers of commerce, health service providers, and product and service companies who serve the expat population.

Media in attendance included International Channel Shanghai, Limitless Laowai, and Shanghai Family Magazine.
