Past Events - Networking Brainstorming

On July 30, 2015 representatives from a number of Charity LINK organizations came together to meet each other and discuss the issues they all face. 

They brainstormed different ideas in small groups. These are the responses given for 4 key questions. 

 

What CHANGES have you noticed recently?

  • DIGITAL - most important!
    • WeChat - chatting vs. calling; wallet

  • Legal and governmental policy changes
  • Companies having foundations and making CSR a priority
  • Donor support changed from long-term to short-term, unstable; makes sustainability difficult
  • Local Chinese becoming more affluent as expat packages are less lavish
